Data lakehouse
A data lakehouse combines the low-cost storage of a data lake with the management and query features of a warehouse.

It stores data in open file formats on object storage, while adding transactions, schemas and fast SQL. Platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake support lakehouse-style architectures.
The idea is to avoid copying data between a lake and a warehouse, and to serve both analytics and machine learning from one place.
