Agent harness
An agent harness is everything around a model that makes an agent useful and safe: tools, permissions, memory, guardrails and evaluations.

The model provides reasoning; the harness decides what it can access, how it recovers from errors and how its work is checked. Two agents on the same model can behave very differently depending on their harness.
Investing in the harness is usually more valuable than switching models.
