Data-driven attribution
Data-driven attribution uses statistical models on real conversion paths to assign credit to each touchpoint.

Instead of fixed rules, the model compares paths that converted with paths that did not and estimates the contribution of each touchpoint. GA4 and Google Ads use it as the default for eligible conversions.
It needs enough conversion volume to work well, and it is still a model. Treat the output as one input to budget decisions, not the answer.
