CTA or a Call to Action is usually a button or statement that is designed to get an immediate response from a user going through a website. CTAs are usually used as a marketing strategy to attract potential customers to take an action.
Most internet marketers add a CTA at the end of a sales copy but sometimes the statement or button is placed throughout the page to grab the attention of potential buyers of a service or product. CTAs help people take an action by letting them know what they have to do next to avail a service or buying a product.
Using Call To Action buttons and statements should be naturally implemented in a sales copy, especially ff a businessman wants his customer/reader to know what exactly they have to do to conduct business. But as simple as it sounds, many businesses overlook calls to action marketing. There are mainly two reasons why CTAs are avoided.
1 – The belief that customer/reader on a specific page already knows what to do if they want to conduct business.

How do you create an effective call to action?
Calls to action work best when they are not overly-populated or complex. A CTA should be simple and it should take the reader/user immediately to the sign-up or order page. Never make your users go through numerous pages before the final deal is made.
If you’re not familiar with calls to action marketing, here are some important pointers to keep in mind while creating one:
Your call to action must have a supporting statement that lets the user know exactly what they’ll get by clicking on it. If you’re asking them to click on a button for a discount, make sure they get a discount when they sign-up or buy.
Let the customer know exactly how they have to respond to your sales copy. If you’re a business selling services, don’t use a CTA saying Buy Now, instead use CTA saying something like ‘Get free consultation’. People usually want to discuss their concerns before buying a service, so it is important to let them know that you are willing to provide them with a consultation before buying.
Make sure your customer gets some sort of a benefit for responding to your CTA. You must provide an attractive reason for people to immediately respond to your CTA. You can offer discounts, extra time, freebies, and more. This also increases the likelihood that someone would take an action.
