Unique pageview is the number of sessions during which the specified page was viewed at least once.
Therefore, in a single session, if a user visits page1 5 times page2 3 times and page3 1 time, they would all receive just one unique pageview.

As also seen in the screenshot above, websites usually have a lot more page views than unique page views.
